Ko Nathan Waitai ahau
I am a pāpā of 5 and a koro of 9 mokopuna. I worked facilitating Ngā Taonga Tākaro around the motu to 14 Hauora and have built long-lasting relationships with iwi and hapū leaders. I have worked in an industry training organisation for 2 years developing assessment accreditation and launched many programmes fit for purpose recently in the ao Māori and establishing quality assessors nationwide for on-the-job qualifications in that time.
I am a critical thinker with an aspirational mindset. Relationships are of the highest priority. I enjoy te ao Māori, Hīkoi whenua, whakapapa, diving, playing music, most of all spending time with whānau and my wife, sharing real life experiences with our mokopuna.
I have dedicated my working life to the advancement of others, however most importantly I am a positive exemplar of my whakapapa dedicated to my hapū and Iwi and committed to making a better future for all.
Ngā mihi nui ki a koutou, kia ora mai rā and I look forward to working closely with you all.
