Do you have a passion for driving change and enhancing Māori health outcomes? Te Rau Ora is looking for an experienced Evaluator-Researcher to join our team. In this pivotal role, you’ll independently evaluate our programmes, providing actionable insights that advance innovation, funding sustainability, and Māori health equity.
You’ll bring a culturally grounded lens to assess the effectiveness of Te Rau Ora's initiatives, support the development of kaupapa Māori evaluation methodologies, and contribute evidence-based recommendations that shape the future of our programme delivery.
Key details:
- Type: Permanent, Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)
- Location: Flexible-based at any Te Rau Ora office

Qualifications and Skills:
- A Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., evaluation, social science, or public policy).
- 8+ years of expertise in evaluation methodologies and research, particularly in Māori and community contexts.
- Proficiency with data analysis tools (e.g., SPSS, R, or Dedoose).
• Deep understanding of ethical research principles, especially in kaupapa Māori environments.
