"Te Whare Tukutuku - a connected approach from many weavers' hands to addressing Alcohol and Other Drug (AoD) challenges."
Whiria te muka harakeke, whiria te muka tangata. Puritia ngā taonga a o tātou tūpuna hei taonga for future generations.
"Plat the flax fibres, plat the fibres of mankind. Hold on to the treasures of our ancestors as a taonga for future generations."
Te Whare Tukutuku (formerly known as Alcohol and Other Drug (AoD) Workforce Innovation) works in partnership with the New Zealand Drug Foundation. This team engages with whānau Māori working within the hapori whānui (wider community) about their respective AoD tohungatanga (expertise, competence, proficiency).
Our team are privileged to be able to listen to the needs of whānau and contribute to the impact of reducing alcohol and other drugs addiction through a Māori lense.
