Te Rau Ora Board Member
An exciting opportunity for a Board Director with a vision for a Māori innovative approach towards strengthening Māori health and wellbeing.
The Board of Te Rau Ora Limited - a charitable company specialized in the Māori Health sector - calls for applications to become a Director of the Board. The Board currently comprises 5 Directors.
The Board is looking for candidates who have had previous governance experience and including further experience and exposure in the following areas:
- Mental health
- Charitable operations
- Strategic planning
- Business acumen
- Tikanga Māori
- Human Resources
- Relationship Management
Some experience in the education sector would be an advantage but does not constitute a requirement.
There are four Board meetings a year which are intended to be in person and held at the four key operating locations of Te Rau Ora within New Zealand. Other Board meetings on specific matters are usually held via video conference (around 8 throughout the year).
Please note this is a paid role - fees to be advised by the Board.
